The first Craft Show was held in 1991 and was introduced for three reasons

To give entrants enjoyment and an opportunity to display their handiwork
To give enjoyment to Country Fair visitors, seeing others handiwork.
To give an added dimension to the Country Fair.

It is felt important to have classes for all age groups and to make small changes to the classes each year.

The winner of each class receives a trophy (for the year) plus a certificate to keep. 2nd and 3rd place also receive a certificate. The two under 5 class winners each receive a medal, which they keep on a permanent basis.
